Ergohobe is the assistive technology centre for social and vocational development, created by Lantegi Batuak which, by making the most of our experiences, knowledge and innovation, enables persons with disabilities to attain greater levels of personal autonomy in the workplace.
In collaboration with other entities, we perform practical trials and processes addressed to increasing integration in the job market, by adapting workplaces and providing assitive products, improving ergonomics and accessibility and providing training for persons with disabilities.

To spread knowledge and best practices. The ERGOHOBE program (acronym created with the words Ergonomy and Hobekuntza = Improvement) started in the year 1999 and consists of the progressive implementation in Lantegi Batuak’s workshops and services of an annual project for the ergonomic optimisation of workplaces, and of whole organisations, with the final goal of adapting workplaces and removing architectural barriers for persons with disabilities from work centres. From 2007 Ergohobe extended its scope, becoming the technology centre applied to social and vocational development.
Ergohobe is achieving this by implementing innovative measures in matters concerning individualisation of processes, detection of professional profiles with the most demand related to new market niches competence planning, formative training diagnoses, ergonomic adaptations and workplace design and process reorganisation.

Lantegi Batuak is a non-profit organization that has been generating as normalised as possible job opportunities in industrial and service activities for 25 years, enabling a path to incorporate persons into the workplace, with the goal of achieving their regular employment.
Ergohobe is composed of a multi-disciplinary team, covering areas such as workplace medicine, ergonomics, health and safety in the workplace, management and organisation, psychology, job guidance and preparation etc.
